Event Overview

Time: Depart 3:00 PM | Return ~10:00 PM
Location: Kansas City, MO (Crown Center Ice Terrace + downtown spots)
Cost: $50 per student (covers transportation, skating, and dinner)

Itinerary

2:00 PM — Departure

  • Meet at Fort Scott Nazarene

  • Travel north to Crown Center

4:00 PM — Crown Center Ice Terrace

  • Group skate on the iconic outdoor rink

  • Skate rentals available onsite

  • Hot chocolate and photo opportunities included

6:00 PM — Dinner at Fritz’s

  • Group dinner @ Fritz's in Crown Center

7:30 PM — Plaza KC Stroll & Fun

  • Group Shopping through the Plaza (Adults Per Group)

  • Grab ice cream or snacks (~$10 optional)

10:00 PM — Return Trip

  • Head back safely to Fort Scott Nazarene

What to Bring

  • Warm clothing: jacket, gloves, hat, scarf

  • Closed-toe shoes for skating

  • Signed permission/medical release form [link]

Safety & Supervision

  • Adult leaders accompany all students

  • Small groups assigned to chaperones

  • Church safety policies in place for all activities
